Research funding for Masters and PhD students studying at The University of the South Pacific
The University does not provide scholarships for international students, however, students enrolled in a research programme (Masters by research and PhD) may apply for research funding through their respective faculties. Further details including the processes, eligibility and application can be obtained from the University Research Office.
If you are a registered student at a university/institution in your home country and would like to study abroad at The University of the South Pacific, you can check with your International Office/Study Abroad Office/Scholarships Office for available scholarships or grants. Alternatively, you can also check with your local governments.
External Scholarships, Aid and Grants
The University of the South Pacific International Office has developed a small database to assist students who are in search of scholarships, aid, and grants to study at USP and/or abroad. The database below is provided as a guide for students, and is subject to change from time to time. Students are advised to check relevant websites for detailed information on scholarships, application processes, deadlines, eligibility, etc.
The International Office will be more than happy to help provide details of Erasmus Mundus and Intra-ACP Scholarships mentioned below, as the USP actively participates in these scholarships funded by the European Commission. The contact staff for Erasmus Mundus and Intra-ACP Scholarships at USP is Mr. Anitelu St. John.
